Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

His background matters. It means the founder has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Here is the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
